As a child  I had an active imagination and I often passed time with my head in the clouds and my nose in a book. Then my parents bought me a camera and everything changed. Suddenly I was spending all of my extra money on magazines so that I could look at the photographs and study the designs on the page.

My degrees are in Visual Communications Management and Photojournalism but typography is my love language and find design work very fulfilling. I am disappointed that AI has popularized the em dash, but I also know how to use an en dash and a hyphen and have been known to have dreams about copy edits.
