I believe there is no better quality a person can have than a well-developed, clever sense of humor. For that reason it is no mystery that Denver's Comicon may be one of my favorite events to photograph. You will never encounter so many people that love to have fun and nerd out in one place. Appreciators of all kinds of fictional, sci fi and just plain popular characters showed up to proudly show off their costumes and enjoy a day of rubbing elbows with George Takei and chat with others who appreciate their obsessions as much as they do. I chose to hit up the lines and photograph a few of my favorites. These folks waited in line for over 3 hours, circling the Colorado Convention Center and creating a fun block of costumed fans ready to nerd out for a day.
